The Meridian Gold 8 program with a new version is one of the best and most comprehensive astrology programs available on the market.
It is a Meridian program launched in 2006 in Spanish in Argentina and since then it has incorporated many new features, improved the quality of its presentations and has been translated into English, Portuguese, French and Italian.
Meridian was designed to meet all the astrological calculation needs of professional astrologers and astrology students. During its design, the requirements of astrology teachers and schools in many parts of the world were taken into account to facilitate learning, allowing the grouping of program configurations such as house systems, orbs, wheel types and template pages into user profiles, which makes it easier for students to use during learning.
Special attention has been paid, on the one hand, to the use of colors and the quality of glyphs and images, and, on the other hand, to allowing the user to decide how much information they want to display in the spreadsheet, in order to allow access to the most intuitive levels of perception.
While the techniques presented cover all the techniques of traditional Western astrology, different active platform modules have been prepared that expand knowledge in the areas of Classical and Medieval Astrology, Hellenistic Astrology and Antakarana Astrology. In addition, the innovative techniques of Astrogenealogy, Astroanamnesis and Melocation have been addressed in the same mode and are available with many other special modules.
In order to facilitate interpretative tasks, Meridian includes the possibility of producing reports with fixed structures, including interpretation texts grouped into text packages that cover different needs, such as Interpretation of the Natal Chart, Solar Returns, Vocational, Karmic, Transits and Synastry, all in Spanish.
Meridiano Gold uses the Swiss ephemeris for the determination of planetary and asteroid positions. It also has a database of locations around the world with almost 500,000 cities, with corresponding time corrections.
